Street signs and house numbers – who are they for?
- Local authorities (rural municipalities, towns, boroughs, villages and so on)
- Apartment associations
- Private homeowners
- When producing street name signs for local authorities, we work from the relevant regulations – for example, in the capital, the Tallinn City Government’s regulation on address signage.

Street signs and house numbers – material options
The base material for our signs is galvanised steel sheet or aluminium sheet. For the surface layer we use reflective films from Avery Dennison. We make sure the signs withstand a range of weather conditions and are as vandal-resistant as possible.
On request, we can produce street name signs in retroreflective film. In several towns these are mandatory – in Pärnu, for example.
Production time for street name signs generally depends on the volume of work. Describe your requirements to us as precisely as you can and we will find a suitable solution.
Common requirements for street sign design:
- Dimensions of the address sign (width, height and shape)
- Text size on the sign and the typeface
- Colours of the address sign – in Tallinn, address signs are a different colour in each district
- Type of film (whether retroreflective film is required, for example)
- Address signs can also be ordered to a design of your choice, in the dimensions and colours you need.
